About Simply Devine Kreations

Hi my name is Shawana Richmond. I am the Owner of Simply Devine Kreations & Catering, LLC.  I came up with the name with each initial S.D.K from me and my daughters initials of our 1st names. I was born and raised in Durham, NC. 

 

 I started doing events about 10 years ago. I started with just doing events and making treats for family and friends. Then word of mouth and sharing my pictures on social media sparked more clients. In 2017 I made it an official business. Then the pandemic hit which made business slow. So I figured I would just put the business to the side and take that time to go back to school and educate myself and get my Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. I graduated from Strayer University in 2022. So now I just recently decided to focus back on my business doing what I Love which is creating unique events for my clients' vision and within their budget and style.

 

My specialty is my Sweet Potato Cakes and Cupcakes. They are quite a big hit. I also provide treats/ treat packages and a variety of other services. I provide services for all of Raleigh, Durham and surrounding areas. My #1 priority is my clients and making sure that they are satisfied and happy. My future goals are to expand and grow my business in all areas.
